Email Problems

If you have been having email problems all day and are with Talktalk - don't think it's your computer - it's them! Again! Grrr! Recorded message about them trying to resolve it when I rang them ......
Very annoying! Shouldn't think it's to do with Black Friday - is it?

I've had some problems with mine and I'm with BT. Maybe it's all those emails confirming orders - other people's , not mine.

Sorry Anne, I am with TalkTalk (well Tiscali) and have had no problems with e-mails, in fact I've been inundated all day with e-mails - about Black Friday :-(

It finally came back mid evening. I knew it was Talktalk as it kept asking me to reset password and when that happens it's always their fault.

Stupid Talktalk - it's gone off again! Recorded message still says "trying hard to resolve!" - bet it's to do with overload from confirmation of orders (not mine!) from Black Friday sales online!

Turned into a major problem now - not had incoming emails since mid evening yesterday. Just phoned and they said its affecting lots of customers. According to the foreign gentleman in India I spoke to "The engineers do not even know what the problem is yet - but I promise you it will be back in 24 hours!" He said he wanted to give me a big sorry!
So apparently its a completely random fault - your neighbours may not be experiencing problems even if you are. So if you are on Talktalk and yours is ok, thank your lucky stars!

Can't believe no other ABers are bothered by this as Talktalk told me it is a massive problem.

Now at 7pm a few emails have come in up until 9am this morning but back comes the error box on screen asking for my username and password again - so its not fixed yet!
