I Phone 4 Died??

Hi has anyone ever had an I Phone 4 just die? I have been using it today for e mails,calls etc,just come to use it tonight and its dead as a dodo!! charged it but no sign of life,also how do u get the battery out? grrrr

Have you tried the usual i.e. resetting by pressing the home/standby button at the same time?
You may have to repeat the process a few times.
May want to do it after a full 8 hour charge.
