I Think I Have A Virus Or Bug...samsung Chromebook

only 5 months old , samsung chromebook. it has been working great untill recently. when im browsing now the cursor is floating around the screen in slow motion and i have to shut down laptop then open it up again. i also get an annoying ad in the background which comes on about 5-6 times per day, the ad says something about youtube.

i have ad block installed so what could be happening here and how can i fix it ?

It's said you’ll probably never get a virus or other malware since Chrome OS runs web apps instead of native apps. There’s virtually no way to accidentally download and install a program that will maliciously attack your computer because there’s really no way to download and install apps at all. I suppose a rogue browser extension could wreak some havoc...

Have you any other extensions other than ad block?

just checked extentions and there is only ad block and photo editor. i also thought that you cannot get virus on chromebook that is reason i bought it i only use it for emails and browsing internet watching youtube etc.

but something is definately running upsetting it in background
