I ask because i ordered a book at the beginning of december, it was due on the 22nd december, thats according to amazon, when i contacted the seller, he said otherwise, he said the delivery date which was 11dec, had to take into account 15 working days. Anyway i received an amazon feedback form to fill in this morning, and i gave negative feedback. so i wait with baited breath for the book.

So you bought the book from a private seller on Amazon Market Place?

Some are more reliable than others.
I've been waiting for 3 items since October. There is a problem with Chinese goods being imported at the moment. I've written and told them to cancel but I've never had any reply. I'm very disappointed with Amazon at the moment.
Always found them excellent. Perhaps I've been lucky?
I get the feedback emails "rate our product" blah blah blah .When I rate the service, I'm told it is not acceptable.
And I've never had a problem with Amazon. I order quite a lot of items as well.
If items are being sent from the UK mainland, there seems to be no problem, just with Chinese imports.
I've never had a problem with Amazon, my parcels have always arrived within the estimated delivery dates.
The sellers are variable. Amazon itself is amazing. My daughter ordered something last night and it has already arrived!
This is a private sale advertised on Amazon , it is up to the seller to post it not Amazon themselves.
I too ordered from a private seller yesterday lunchtime, received this morning. Brilliant.
