hi i'm trying to connect an analogue portable tv to a digibox and a dvd recorder . i'm faced with a mulitude of scart sockets and leads. so far i've managed to get a picture through but can't seem to get an input from dvd recorder

to sum up i've got

14 inch analogue tv with 1 scart socket

1 digibox with 2 scart sockets on , 1 marked tv and other marked vcr and aerial in/ out sockets

1 dvd recorder with 2 scart sockets on, 1 marked out scart out /tv and the other marked scart in / decoder and aerial in/out sockets

finally in case my tv is no good, with it only having 1 scart socket i also have a scart adaptor with 1 scart lead attached and 3 sockets to insert scart leads into

help and advice as to what goes where would be much appreciated

aerial in to digibox - out to DVD (assuming DVD has a digital tuner). Aerial to TV is a waste of time as no digital tuner in it.

SCART digibox out/vcr to DVD

DVD can then record from the digibox.

Best to get a switched SCART box. This sort of thing:

SCART from digibox out/tv to switch
SCART from DVD out/tv to switch

SCART from switch to TV SCART socket.

You then need to watch the TV through the SCART input and use the switch to choose whether to see the digibox or the DVD player.
