There are all kinds of products available, but you do have to know which one is best for YOUR situation. I'd suggest going to an art supply store and explain to them what you want.

I'd make sure it wasn't flammable (as hairspray is).

There is something, they offered it to me when I had an oil painting of my grandson framed. Don't know what it's called, not much help to you I know, but it's definitely worth asking in the framers.

Get yourself a can of spray lacquer and do it yourself or as silliemillie suggests take it to a picture framers.
