Beating The Creme Egg!

Following on from Sandyroe's post and also the eggstensive coverage in various Daily's:

we got all eggcited about the Creme egg in AB towers and we came up with what we thought would be an eggstravagant new idea.

We keep the original eggscellent Cadburys chocolate shell (of course!!!!!!!!) then we would have a honey comb yolk in the centre cuddled by a cloud of whipped cream (in the style of a walnut whip).

What do you think?

A Cadburys egg with Fortnum and Mason Champagne truffles filling. Throw away the rotten old Cadbury egg(because it's chocolate is horrible these days) and eat the champagne truffles. Ok ok ,so it's a very EGGspensive thing to do but... yumsy !

Why is it not a "Cream", rather than a Creme Egg?

because it's not 'cream' that's in them and so they avoid the trade descriptions act / false representation etc.

A milk chocolate egg containing white and yellow fondant filling. Cadbury Creme Eggs are only around to release their goo during the Creme Egg season between January and April.
