Can I put any capacity hard drive in pc, for example 4TB, or is it limited by processor, motherboard or any other component?

Is it 32 bit Windows or 64 bit Windows?

I guess it is 64 bit Windows as most are nowadays but I think 32 bit Windows cannot support a 4Tb drive.

Will this be the "boot" drive or a second or spare drive?

If instaling Windows on it I think you need to set it up as a GPT disk rather than an MBR disk as I think MBR supports only up to 2TB.

GPT is GUID Partition Table.

MBR is Master Bot Record.

It will be a second hard drive. The main one will be a SSD with the OS on it.

Does your PC have UEFI in the BIOS?

Many modern PCs do and I think you need it for Windows to support 4TB hard drive and GPT.

Cor it gets complicated doesn't it.
