A friend of mine and me have a small business to which we have a website, it has been recognised by Google which is good for us but after submitting the home page web address for some reason it goes to another page featuring just pictures, I have submitted the HOME page address several times now but still the same thing happens, there does not appear to be a space for comments or a contact us option on the Google webmaster tool, how can I solve this?

If you have a intro paragraph on your home page, try rewriting it every few days. Search engines look for changes to show a website is active.

If you add to you photo gallery more often than you change your homepage, Google will see that as being the most active part of you site so will come higher up in the search results.
