Mobile Screen Scratches

How can I get rid of small scratches on my mobile screen . I think the screen is some type of plastic.

Are you sure it's the actual screen that's scratched? You might have one of those peel-off plastic protectors on it. If that's the case, peel it off, throw it away and off to the 99p shop for a dozen more. Or buy some anyway and put one on, it'll go some way to hiding the scratches.

Thanks to you both if the toothpaste doesn't work at least the phone will smell nice.BTW I removed the first plastic as soon as it was out of it's box
