E-Mail Problems
4 Answers
About two months ago, I opened a gmail account, but it turned out that I didn't need it. Now, for the last month, whenever my father wants to send me an e-mail, it doesn't go straight to my e-mail account like it used to, but he gets my gmail username and it has to go through that. My internet provider tested my e-mails and I sent one to myself, and they both came straight through without any bother. Why is it that my father could be having this problem?

He puts down the gmail account in the TO box and it goes there. Otherwise he puts down whatever other e-mail address you used to use and it'll go there instead.
I think your father may be using the address his e-mail client or account suggest when he types in your name, possibly ? He would need to change that default if this is the case.
