I have windows 8.1 and until recently BT was my homepage, somehow a couple of weeks ago 'bing' became my homepage and I don't want it, and tried without success to delete it, however now when it appears I get a red warning from my security's site advisor telling me it is a dangerous site and not to go there.
I have tried clicking on 'Make BT your homepage' but a page appears saying 'Your current operating system is not supported'.
Can someone please advise how I get rid of bing and back to BT?

What browser are you using, Kazal?
2 possible cures=

1 do you have an option to revert to Windows 7? If so, back up and try it

2 Windows 10 is coming out shortly, and will be a free "upgrade" - because Win 8 was excreta - back up and try that

So, if you swop to a different browser is it still an issue ?

Just a thought but you have scanned with Malwarebytes haven't you ? Changes to home pages can suggest an infection.
You do not need to resort to reverting to W7 or any other operating system for such a simple problem.

Does this help?

Hc4361The link you show is exactly what I get when I click on 'make BT your homepage' Where do I go from here?
Old Geezer I have done a full scan and there was no problem
Do you follow the 3 step instructions?
I am running W8.1

I opened IE, clicked on the cog, then 'internet options'.
I opened the 'General' tab then put bt.com in the home page box.
Clicked apply, then ok and that was it.

No problems encountered.
