...two days ago my Google homepage was replaced by MSN Bing, I have no idea how it just happened. I've tried Internet Options and typed in Google, and I've run a 'system restore' to before the problem I am using IE9. Now MSN has gone but Google won't load and has 'this page can't be displayed' so at the moment I have no search engine, can anyone help me please

type www.google.co.uk into the long thin white box at the top where you write website addresses (it proabably has a proper name)
When the google page opens, go to tools > options > save this as my home page
Something like that should sort it
I expect the MSN one has crept in when you've updated or downloaded something - there is often a snealy little tick box ready ticked saying 'make X my home page' or whatever
Try keying into the Bing search panel: make google my home page,

Internet options - Highlighted area type http://www.google.co.uk (or com which ever you are using) then press apply then ok.
Do the same for new tab & use default.

Thanks to all. Done as suggested, no problem with that, it's just that when I try to access my Google home page it won' open just 'this page can't be displayed'.
