Another Kindle Has Broken, 2 In 1 Year

kindle paperlite, if i can give any one advise do not buy these !!! my 2nd one was working ok untill yesterday battery went and i plugged into wall , light came on then i put lead into usb plug, plugged it in then nothing, no lights or anything now .

maybe i have blown it ,something to do with wrong lead or something i dont know. any ideas on what i could do ?

ok moving on, i love reading , i need another kindle, which one is best , why best and where do i buy it from ?

thanks but looking something not so big or expensive. managed to get kindle on by rebooting it, then it will go off again and on with a white line going across the middle of it as if it is uploading something ..

I've had my Sony eReader for 9 years and it is still used every day. Sadly Sony don't make them any more but you can buy them second hand on eBay.
I bought one last year in case mine died and it is obvious that it has hardly been used.
The big advantage for me is that I can get the books from anywhere, even borrow them from public libraries. I am not tied to Amazon although I can buy from there if I want to

but yeeeeees!! ive just discovered that you can download kindle app onto smartphone which i have just done.

looks great , better than the old kindle paperlite by the looks of it so far.
