"a Script On This Page..."
Hi all, I'm regularly getting this message coming up, on various sites, especially the BBC's news page, facebook, Wikipedia and the like.
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue."
It then gives me the options Continue, Debug or Stop Script. If I stop the script, sometimes everything works OK, others it all comes to a standstill.
What's causing it, can I fix it when it happens and can I stop it happening?
I'm using Firefox on an XP machine.
