A Long Running Script Is Preventing The Page Loading Properly

every time i load a new page on AB, it freezes and when i try to scroll up or down, i get the above message. after a looooooong while it will un-freeze, presumably because by then the 4 million banner ads round the edges have finally loaded.

i understand that AB has got to get revenue from somewhere, but this is getting beyond tiresome.

what can i do to make it better? note this is a company laptop and i don't have administrator rights, so i'm stuch with IExplorer.
