I-Pad Air
3 Answers
My 18 month old I-Pad Air seems to be losing its charge quickly and it is quite warm when on charge. I think the battery life should be more than 18 months and I cannot explain the heat when charging, but it worries me. The next stop will have to be the Apple shop, but it is not easy to get to, and it's impossible to speak to a real person for advice on the phone. Any ideas anyone?

Additionally, this Apple Forum: http:// store.a pple.co m/us/re views/M D836LL/ A/apple -12w-us b-power -adapte r seems to support the fact that the charger may be the culprit. I've not had any problems, but have talked to friends using various models of iPad that have experienced your problem...
Thank you Clanad for your help. I thought it would be the battery rather than the charger. On checking settings(I am not very experienced with this device) I found that in the last 24 hours it had used 98% of the battery charge, compared to 38% in the previous 7 days, so something is up. Perhaps the shop is the answer, but thanks again for the links.
