When I type in the first letter on a search engine a drop-down appears that includes all the previously viewed pages that start with that letter, after adding the second letter it shows all the sites starting with the two and so on.

How do I stop this from happening?

I have young children and do not want them to see what has been viewed previously.

Thanks

Hi vespaboy, In Internet Explorer click Tools then Internet Options, then click 'Content' at the top and then 'AutoComplete' near the bottom. From here you can untick the boxes for certain things that you don't want the PC to complete for you.

or put your cursor over the culprit (so it turns into a blue bar) and press delete on your keyboard !.
