How to print what is displayed on the screen:

Press Print Screen, then double click on Paint then click on Edit and, finally, click on Paste and print off what you see.

Easy peasy

That's great.  Thanks alot.  It has been puzzeling me for a while.  Great, now i know.
Note also that Alt key and Prnt Scrn will often capture just the active window rather than the whole screen. I prefer to then paste into Word etc.(more control) or into something like Paintshop Pro.
Just to expand, the Print Scrn button actually copies the screen image to the Windows clipboard so you can paste the image into any application that accepts pasting (Word, Excel, photo programs etc.)

This small free programme is also useful.

I use this button all the time for pasting screen prints into Word,Excel, and email.Select Ctrl & The Prt Scr,then go to wherever you want to paste the image, and the press Ctrl & V.Your image should now appear.

hmm in all my years on computers i've never known that, thx :D

PvtSniper Thx.

Don't know why TEAK36 is using Ctrl & Prnt Scrn it's no different from just Prnt Scrn.

Did you also know that Ctrl-N opens a new Internet Explore window and I think it is supposed to use less memory than using the Internet Explorer icon?
