Urgent Help Needed...going Crazy

I'm officially going nuts and very frustated. I usually use windows movie maker 2.6 as its easy to use and up to now was compatible with windows 8. Now its decided not to work at all so have to resort to using the new version of movie maker.
Spent hours and hours over the last week uploading photos, music etc.
Saves ok but when I want to save as a movie it says I don't have enough memory which is a complete lie. I have task manager open and I have plenty of memory and hard drive available.
I've been on forums, followed their advice, resized photos. Still doesn't work!!!! Help please!!!!

I am going to throw my computer through the window. I've been at it all weekend trying just to save it as a movie. Gets to 90% then stops. I need it for Tuesday and don't really have time to learn a new programme.
