Bought a SAmsung Galaxy Tab4 for backing up all 23gigabytes of photos I have on my home pc.
But when ever I try to Copy and Paste any of my photos from PC to the Tab4 it will not let me Paste them into the Pictures Folder.
Is t because I am using Windows XP ?

I assume you have the tablet connected to the PC via a cable and you are looking at the "pictures" folder on the tablet.

If so try drag and drop.

Also, the most memory I can see on a Galaxy Tab 4 is 16Gb, so how much memory has yours got? Of have you added a memory card to it.

I have to say an easier way of doing this is to buy a small portable hard drive and plug that in the Windows XP computer and copy the files across to that.

Hi VHG,

I have not added a memory card yet but I only tried to copy one photo as a test but no joy.
I do have all my my 23gb worth of photos backed onto a 1 terrabyte external hard drive but I wanted to put them onto a 32gb micro SD on the Tab 4 so I could look at them also.
1.Put sd card into usb adapter & transfer pics direct from pc.
2. Open sd on Tab4 via Settings/storage/used space

Hi Folks, thanks for all you answers but still no joy.
When I connect it to my PC all I am getting is the camera icon for the Tab 4 when I click on My Computer,
Use this USB after loading onto sd card
