I am considering buying the new ipod nano and already have a 40GB ipod. Conseqently I have itunes on my PC with about 30GB worth of songs in it. My 40Gb ipod automatically updates with these songs when connected to the computer.

My question, what will happen when I connect an ipod nano to the same PC. Can I choose which songs I want onit from my 30GB in itunes?

Dont think you can use your collection with two I-Pods, everyone would be copying friends collections etc.

There are lots of IPod Forums on the net someone will advise you there.

Try iLounge, Ipodgarage, or Apple forums

Yes, no problem. Me and my better half have two ipods that we sync to one iTunes. The only problem used to be syncing playlists as my playlist would automatically be put on to hers. We had to disable auto syncing. iTunes 5 seems to have solved this issue though and I can now autosync my playlists and podcasts but it will not put them on to my partners.
It works just like the Shuffle. Either you can choose what goes on it, or you can use the Autofill feature (with obviously consequences).
