Trouble Accessing Web Sites.

For the last two days I've had trouble accessing web sites. I have to access a site twice before it will fully load, the same happens when accessing a feature within a web site. Refresh has no effect I have to go back to the home page and click on the link again.
I'm running a brand new mac mini with Firefox browser, BT superfast broadband with parental controls switched off.

I don't have any personal experience of Macs but when it happens to me I use the 'reset' feature though I don't know if you have that feature on a Mac.
