Smart Tv Built In Wifi Freeview But I Cannot Watch It.

bought a hitachi 50" smart tv.

i cannot get 1 channel on it even though i have hi speed virgin broadband internet in my house. if this tv is wifi enabled how can i watch live stream channels and netflix etc.

i do not have any outside arial , all i have is a tv arial from virgin coming into my home

You won't get any channels on it as you don't have a tv source such as an ariel or Virgin tv box.

Is there a 'smart' button on your remote? You should be able to see the screen of apps including Netflix

Has it got built in wi-fi or do you need a dongle?

The Hitachi 50 Inch Full HD Freeview HD Smart LED TV has a Wi-Fi receiver built in. It does not require an additional dongle.

Baldric - I think Dieseldick must have replaced the 50 inch Hitachi Tv he bought in June 2015 with a new one
