I was very surprised to see the Windows 10 install icon in the taskbar of my Samsung N210 that was running Windows 7 Starter.

Now running Windows 10 Home and has a new lease of life. Even Cortana is working :)

Dig your out of that cupboard, blow the cobwebs off and have a look.

Not the internet/e-mail bit as waiting for work IT but have been playing around with phone, contacts and SMS. I don't seem to be able to even dial a number without using alt digit alt digit alt digit etc etc - surely there's a screen keypad? Anyway I won't ask you loads as it will bore the pants off you but if something really flummoxes I now know who to ask right :-)

Prudie, you don't need to use the alt key to make a call.

Press the call key then type in the numbers using the letters - it will automatically input the number and not the letter - then press the call key again
