Cant Send Picture Or Messages

when using outlook to send messages or photos i get the following error message........An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'Hotmail', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12019, Error Number: 0x80004005

does anyone know how to fix this problem? in easy language please..

The requested operation cannot be carried out because the handle supplied is not in the correct state.
I think you need to get you setting right sammo. Has it ever worked or have you done an upgrade.?

Go to Start / All Programs / Accessories / Command prompt and right click on command prompt and click run as Administrator.

Type sfc /scannow and enter and let it run. It will scan and try to fix some of your system files.
You may want to try this sammo.

Sammo also consider that if the problem has just started. Can you remember when it was last ok. If so a system restore can put it right if you restore to a time and date before the problem started.

i tried what you suggested togo but its still the same.. i right click on the picture i want to send the send to them mail recipient. put in the email address press send then the error comes up.. any other suggestions. this has been happening for a long time so cant use the restore option.

when i send e mails i use hotmail.. but when i get this message its from outlook express. could this have anything to do with it.

sammo just got back in. outlook is the new incarnation of Hotmail, which I also use. You are going to have to post your operating systems and hope that buenchico is on. He is better able to diagnose and help. If I am at the keyboard and set up I can usually muddle through but am not very good at direct procedure. I have posted this as an alert for buen.
