Can anyone tell me how to stop Outlook Express running automatically when I boot up my PC?

I've carried out your instructions as below however I still get an error message on start up which reads " Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client"
I currently have hotmail set as my default client.

Try this long shot:
Click 'Start', 'Settings' and then 'Control Panel'. In 'Control Panel' click on an icon called 'Scheduled Tasks'. In this utility you can tell Windows what to run at specific times, like when the PC boots up. Is there anything in there that looks like Outlook Express has been scheduled to run at a specific time?
