Ios9 Ipad Update

I've been trying to update my iPad2 with IOS9.

Despite being told that the installation is complete and I just need to complete a few more actions I am confronted with a blank white screen and cannot advance from there.

Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it?

Glad I read this. I won't be updating my iPad just yet. The iPhone update went ok though.

Not sure I will be able to get beyond the white screen of serenity to pick up the update though, I'll have a go later.

Try the force restart (hold power and home button for several seconds) to reboot the iOS device first.

Thanks Jomlett, that was my plan but I wasn't sure if it would pick up the update. Got to go out now but will try later, lots of swearing and cursing are on the horizon me fears ;-(

I have just done my iOS 9.01 update. Everything seems to be functioning as it should. I have an ipad2 also. I got the white screen and followed the instructions. Everything is fine. I would try holding the home button and off switch. I did that on a previous update and had to hold it for a least 30"seconds. But it got there in the end. Not sure how many more updates an ipad2 can take though.
