I keep getting a message saying do I want to reserve a free copy of Windows 10. Is it worth it. I have Windows 7 at present. Would it affect my Microsoft Excel that I have on the computer. I have found in my opinion that for some reason the more up to date versions actually are a backward step in their use more complicated for a old geezer like me.

For some people, it's probably a good upgrade....for others, not really needed. Look here, then make your own informed choice...

(Microsoft Excel isn't part of your operating system, so switching to W10 shouldn't affect it).
If you are happy with W7 then stick with it.
I have read somewhere on the Internet that Microsoft has a compatibility problem with Windows 10 and Excel, but is trying to resolve matters.

I say the same as VHG. ^^^
