Ipad Querie

Since I done the last update it displays constantly that I have 2 emails . If I have more say another 2 mails it will display 4 but only 2 are there . Even when there are no emails it displays 2 . I up dated to the next update this morning but it is still showing the same .Any idea how to fix this so that it shows the right amount of e mails .

Have you looked in the 'spam' or 'junk' folders?

Thanks for reply yes checked all,that when it first started showing after the update before the one today

Have you tried a soft reset? Press home button and power button at same time for about 10 secs.

How bizarre. With the way things are going at the moment there'll probably be another update,in a couple of days 9.0.3!

What email do you use? I had this problem ages ago after an update. It seems the iPad recogised both the gmail and googlemail addresses and used them both, thus duplicating my inbox, even though it's just one email address.

Does that make sense?

On my main computer I have 2 email address and just use 1 of them on my iPad so I will check that out later .
