I've Received A Text From Nhs-No-Reply ....
13 Answers
I don't mind getting texts to remind me of an appointment but today they've sent me a survey asking how likely would I be to recommend my Doctor's Surgery to family and friends if they needed similar treatment. Marking them from 1 (most unlikely) to 10 (extremely likely), then I must send my reply to a 31digit nhs.net address. Considering that my family and friends are scattered all across North and West Yorkshire and the odd corners of Suffolk and Buckinghamshire, Dorset and Durham, what are the chances that they will attend my Doctors surgery. What a waste of NHS money sending texts such as this, and who do I complain to?

I wonder how much it costs the NHS to send out these texts. MrAsk and I received two texts each to remind us to go for our flu jabs yesterday and then the Doc wouldn't give me mine because I've got flu! I have to go for my jab at the end of October now. What a waste. I'll have a look at mamya's suggestion, and let you know if I get fobbed off.
True retro, but I'll send an e-mail just to tell them how stupid it would be for my friend in Dorset to travel to see my wonderful Doctor here. Considering some people have to wait a week or two to see their own doctor I don't think my recommendations will cut any ice with my family and friends or the patients at my Doctors surgery for clogging it up more than ever.
