Is this a good idea? I've used it a bit, and it seems to take longer to log in to sites. But at least I don't have to look up my passwords! However, I got a warning from Avast anti-virus saying not good. Advice please.

Most of the current internet browsers now use their own password manager.
I use Firefox and that remembers my log-in names and passwords.

I see no reason to have a password manager nowadays.

I use LastPass and have done so for years because it works on every browser I use, every device anywhere in the world.

I don't notice any delay in logging in - it's much faster than me typing in the credentials, and it's easy to use. Just one password to remember.
