I Phone 6. (Again!)

Ivd Googled the solution to this problem Soooo many times, but none of the suggested formulas work for me. I'm on the verge of ringing Apple. But waiting time is endless, so thought I would try my luck on here. It appears a fairly common problem. Ok, when i receive a text message and go to type in the message box, it's turned grey. With 0.00. Appearing st the end of the box, completely making it impossible to type a reply (well you can but you can't see what your typing, some have suggested that it's 'maybe' because the microphone button has been pressed? (It hadn't)
Various solutions but none work for me except switching find off then on. (Inconvenient 4/5 times a day)
It happened before I downloaded iOS 9 and is continuing afterwards?
Anybody?

This issue was supposed to have been fixed in iOS 9.1 which is now available from last week.

If not...Try going to Settings > Messages > turn off Raise To Listen (may need to scroll down a little)

Then close and reopen messages again, see if this helps.

Thanks, I tried the raise to listen ..... Never worked for me?
But I'm ready to do the ios9.1 do I'll do it now and hope it is resolved
