I've finally left the dark age and im now the proud owner of my daughter's old iphone 5c (does that about right ?) Now i've hooked up on a sim only deal with my present supplier, O2.

For £15 a month, i get unlimited texts, 1,000 minutes of calls and 1gb of data ?

I presume the data part is internet use. If so, is 1gb ok....is it enough for occasional/medium use, mainly emails and forum visits ?

Thanks from thickton technophobe !!!!!

Thank you
H, your data allowance is only used when you are using the mobile network. If you are attached by wireless you can use as much as you want.
I have 1Gb data and have never run out. You can monitor your monthly use by going to settings>Mobile Data>Reset statistics (it is right at the bottom of the page.

If you have iOS9 on your phone, turn off Wi-Fi Assist. It is at the bottom of the same page.
Just keep off utube and game apps. and you are sound 'wham'.
don't download or update any apps on your data allowance. You can set them to only update on wi-fi.
