Showbox Onto Sony Android Smart Tv.........not Downloading App

been trying 3 days now to download showbox directly onto my sony bravia 4k android tv. i open internet browser, click to download the showbox APK but then it does nothing, my tv is connected with my google account , could this be the reason as google play does not give the showbox app.

if i sign out of google on my tv ?

i have kodi installed on my tv, can i download showbox directly onto kodi and how.

also is there any other apps to watch / stream movies such as showbox.

had netflix but its crap, old movies even though it is cheap at £5 a month.

There must be a good reason that it's not available for Android in the Plays store, or iOS in the Apple Store. Also, I can't see any way that it could offer the content it claims to for free, unless it is illegal content. Personally, I'd steer well clear.

what is a chromecast ? if i buy a chromecast will these sites be downloaded onto it then i wack it into my tv usb port ?

Chromecast is a dongle that connects to a hdmi port in your tv.

The idea is that you stream content to your android phone or tablet and 'cast' it to the Chromecast dongle so that it can be viewed on your tv. Nothing is downloaded to either the Chromecast dongle or the tv.
