Hi, I currently own a 3rd Gen iPod and am thinking of buying the new Nano as well. My question is, as I obviously have an iTunes with tracks on my PC for my current iPod, how would I go about having a separate iTunes for my new Nano?

i have a feeling that you "register" your particular ipod to a particular itunes, therefore, when you get the nano, install itunes that comes with it, and in the set up, it should register that ipod to that itunes
no, not quite.

Just plug your nano in, and it'll be setup to use the iTunes you already have installed. You then have the choice of autofill (to pick a random selection of songs for your nano), or choosing the songs you want on the nano yourself.
