Please can someone give me a bit of advice I have a Apple iPad two an Xmas gift two years ago , now since I have had it I never let it charge down lower than 50% .
What I want to know is I am I damaging it not letting it run down any advice would be appreciated thank you.
I recall having read on an Internet site that Apple recommends discharging the battery to NO lower than 10% about once a month. The rest of the time keep charging it at various levels of discharge.
I have an ipad2 that is now over 4 years old and I run it down probably at least once a week usually due to use. I usually charge it overnight, more or less every night. I was told that letting it run down completely was good for it. I have done this ever since I have had it. It also helps to use a genuine apple charging lead rather than a cheap one.
