My SKY Satellite dish has been knocked out of alignment . Can I re-align it myself ? If so , what direction and angle will I need .I am in London . Will I need any special tools ?

Yes you can do it yourself by trial and error as presumably you have a digibox which you can tune into the signal test screen. Don't expect it to be easy though as the adjustment will be very fine between a signal and no signal. You'll need a compass to get the direction (28.2� E of S). The dish needs to point up at 23.5 degrees in London. You will not get a picture by simply waving the dish around; the digibox has to decode the signal before a picture can appear for the first time and that can take a couple of minutes or more. So if you just swing the dish around, you'll have already moved it out of the signal again long before the picture has a chance to appear. Plus you'll need someone looking at the TV while you make small adjustments. What you're looking for is the network ID to change to 0002 and the lock indicator to OK. This means you're pointing at the right satellite. Or of course you could call out your local satellite installer and save the bother. As all they're doing is aligning I wouldn't expect the charge to be more than �20.

i had the same problem i paid a man 20 quid money well spent
