does anyone out there know of any good sites for joanna newsom? can't seem to find any good ones! Plus on the off chance was in college bar abdn a few weeks ago n heard this real enchanting song by a female vocalist with the most captivating voice i eva heard, bar staff couldn't help but if anyone knows who it was ppplease tell me ....real stab in the dark eh?!!!!

Hi I have been trying to find this site as well.  Take it, its due to the music for a recent advert on tv.  Why are these voices hidden from the general public ?????????  Whats the other voice you are trying to find, is it Soulful or Jazzy?

 yeah heard it on an ad but just can't get a good site some small bits about her on't bbc site but that's bout it! don't know why we never seem to hear these voices! As for the other voice t'was just real simple, soulful song, tried to keep it in my head but every lyric was out of my head before could google them! how random!!!

Didn't expect anyone could just took a random stab in the dark! used to stay in ferryhill, stayin out near huntly for now but planning movin back in a year or so, miss the place p.s whats with needing a bloody invitation to get int cotton club nowadays ...jesus!!

Hello there - just going back through the archives - Joanna Newsom is totally unique. I saw her on Jools Holland - Later.  I love that Harp action - but no-one I have let hear her album likes her. More fool them. If you want to hear a good track pick Bridges and Balloons. I think you can now download her album on iTunes. By the way - I'm frae the Bloo toon - Peterhead.  It's class to bump into fowlk frae oor area. Used to go to Ellon for Piano lessons.  Cheers!
