I thought the scheme where Ipads were cheaper for students had been extended to schoolchildren. Am I wrong?

Schools are able to create deals, where their governors agree to work with a sponsor and identify who needs what in terms of portable equipment. It's all down to the school though, so best start by asking the right person at the kid's school if any such subsidised scheme exists and if you can join it.
