I’ve only seen the advert on TV once (a few weeks ago I think) and can’t remember the make / model. It’s a camera that shoots video which you can then go through frame by frame to select one as a hi-res photo. Can anyone identify it for me?

I think it was a Samsung
Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8 and DMC-G7 are two mid range cameras that do
dont most cameras do that?

Don't if that's the one I saw advertised Milvus, but it does the job... bit pricey though.
Bednobs - most cameras have video mode but only output a single video file. The only way to get a still is to take a screencap but those tend to be very low resolution. The Lumix stills are 8Mpx.
True ana and you have to factor in any additional lenses. I use a G6 but it doesn't have the stills capture. Another alternative is their bridge camera the DMC-FZ1000 overall a bit cheaper than the others

That one looks very good! There’s only a very short paragraph about video stills capture and it’s not particularly explicit (why “a better viewing experience on 4K televisions”?) but I’m guessing if it can do that it can output image files for use on PCs.
