Hi all. Just wondering if anyone here uses the full (paid) version of this? I've got the free version and like it – thinking of upgrading but not sure how much difference it makes, especially in terms of system resources. I uninstalled McAfee for a few reasons – not very good, plus it used a huge amount of CPU.

Those in the know would say stick with what you've got.
The main advantage of the Premium version, over the free one, is that it runs 'in the background' (rather than 'on demand') thus providing 'real-time protection'.

Note that Malwarebytes is NOT a substitute for anti virus and other security software like McAfee.
If you appreciate the free service and want to continue using the products, it's a good thing to pay for it.

Planning to use Windows Defender for AV.
The real-time protection of paid-for Malwarebytes is attractive, but still wondering how it compares in terms of using system resources. At times McAfee was accounting for more than 80% and pushing CPU over 95%.
