My New Laptop Is A Bit Of A Let Down, The Tablet's Camera Doesn't Work!!

i bought a seemingly 1/2 decent budget laptop/notebook off the net for a song, only to discover the frigging tablet doesn't a camera. silly me assuming all tablets had a camera, its an asus aspire switch 11, for the record.

well i showed it to a friend today and he said there isn't one, no view finder, to take photos, i'm miffed

Oh dear... whenever I'm spending on anything like this I check (then double-check) the specs to make sure I know what I'm buying...bit late after the event!!

If your Laptop is the one shown reviewed in the following link then the specs indicate includes a Front and Rear Camera. (0.9Mp front camera, 2.1Mp rear camera)

I'm certainly confused here. There are at least 4 different versions of the Asus Aspire Switch 11, with different processors, amounts of memory, screen resolutions and system architectures:

However, despite some reviewers claiming to have found cameras (in the links provided above), Asus's own spec sheets strongly suggest that Piggynose is correct in saying that there isn't one.

^^^ PS: To complicate matters, there are also at least three different versions of the Asus Aspire Switch 11 V (which is a different model to the Asus Aspire Switch 11)

talk about teething problems, i'm now having problems controlling the screen, it seems to want to expand every time i touch the keyboard, any advice would be appreciated

Is it the actual Keyboard keys that expands the screen or is it when you touch the mouse pad?

If its the keyboard what keys do you press to make the screen expand?

Also, is the screen capable of touch screen mode?

it actually happpens when i try to scroll

You may need to disable pinch zoom on your mouse pad.

The following Youtube video shows how to disable pinch zoom. If you spot any other related zoom settings in the configuration menu as shown in the video, you may want to disable those also.
