Is There Anyway To Get Internet On Laptop In Rural Area Uk

say if i were away in countryside for a few weeks on end , i know i can get interent by my phone network provider ( giffgaff ) but is there a dongle or some way to get internet on laptop ?

Yes all the phone companies offer mobile data dongles to plug in a laptop.

I read not so long ago about a guy who set up his own Wireless hotspot, it was a bit Heath Robinson, with a satellite dish and a solar panel etc but it seemed to work.

Some phones allow you to connect them via USB and essentially use them as a modem.

I turn on the hotspot on my phone and connect my laptop to it. Uses the phone data. Of course if the area is very rural it's possible that there is no 3 G or 4G signal and it is impossible to access the Internet by phone, dongle or anything else

Just stay somewhere that has wi-fi.

I went to Anglesay last year, and was warned that there was no wi-fi. I was not too concerned because I have unlimited data on my phone and tethering is very easy. Unfortunately, there was hardly any phone signal either when I got there.
