Is it just me but this is a site for us all to chat about things and ask for answers to things we don't know in other words help each other yet there seems to be some right miserable people on here giving answers that are of no help and to be honest down right rude . I for one love coming on here to hear other people's opinions , I'd just like to say thanks to all the people who have taken time to comment on my questions and help me out with answers and opinions , guess I should say thanks for listening to my rants about idris elba as I know I do go on about him lol cheers guys keep up the good work xx

Rant away about Idris as much as you like....does my heart good to beat faster from time to time.....just don't mention Idris and Stephen Fry in the same post......that would be too much for me.......♥

Theoretically it isa place to ask questions and give answers but I suspect it can not survive on that alone. It needs a regular group keeping it alive and active in the off-topic areas.
And of course many questions are general ones rather than problems that need fixing and it is there that there is most likely to be differences of opinion and the possibility of it becoming argumentative. Not a problem if kept within limits. One expects that of a debate.
Plus, one person's good humour can be another's rudeness so a level of tolerance is needed if this site is to avoid being as dry as dust.
I think this place doesn't go too far wrong. The worst excesses are stopped, and there is a 'fair' amount of leeway allowed even so.
