Eizo Fs2434-Bk
7 Answers
My Philips CRT monitor decided to go rather dim, and I was straining to read off of it, so I though, "Hang the cost", and purchased a new monitor. The Eizo FS2434-BK has just been delivered and I've connected it in place of the Philips.
After a little bit of fiddling with the front panel switches, it sprang into life. I guess the PC/Windows finally noticed it. But it says it is a generic monitor, which can not be right.
The CD seems to only hold a manual, no drivers. Searching the Net for its drivers only came up with some installation software labelled G-Ignition.
I've just rebooted, it is still showing generic.
Any thoughts on how to get it recognised as an Eizo, and get it to download/use specific Eizo FS2434-BK drivers ?
Cheers.

It would appear that drivers only go as far as W8.1 which is why Windows has applied 'generic' drivers.
