After moving house, I have lost my microsoft works and microsoft money dics. I have been told that to buy new ones, it will cost about �50 each.I am not working at present due to illness and can' t afford that amount. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Which version of Works was it - I have an old version spare (has Money as well, I think).

Use Open Office (v.1.1.5). It's free and most users reckon that it's vastly superior to the Microsoft products. (It's fully compatible, so you can still open files created with the Works suite).

If the cost really is that much of a problem then I'd use Open Office as it is able to open (and save) Microsoft's Word and Excel files. Some say it's also superior to Microsoft's efforts.

Money is a separate package which Open Office doesn't replace so you'll need a plan B there.

Thank you for your most generous offer which I would like to take you up on.How do we go about you sending me the disc? You could send to, The sorting office, Oriel Road,  Kirkcaldy, Fife and put to, ''collect on it.'' I could re emburse any costs, when you send me your address.
