For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.you could get one of those cushioned lap top trays, they are basically a tray with a cushion attached to the underside. this would keep the lap top cooler too as there is a gap between the surface and laptop base.
if you cant find one in the shops, (those catalogues you get advertising stuff for the elderly or infirm of sell these as tea trays) you could make one by sticking to the two togther (don't try to balance as the tray may slide off if you move)
alternatively a flat cushion, similar to what you attach to chairs would be fine on it own
Just tried the link I gave you and it takes you to misco and it looks like they don't sell the laptop cooler pads, only the hard coolers with fans in them. Sorry I couldn't help.
Oh! if you do a search on ebay make sure you use the word pad because if you just put laptop cooler you will get thousands of the hard coolers with fans which are mostly shipped from the far east from power sellers who start their auctions at 1p and then charge a fortune for P&P. If no luck on ebay try Amazon.
