I've just been given an old Toshiba 26" TV - If I keep it I'm assuming I will have to buy a digital box to watch Freeview - I've taken the side cover off which is where all the plug things are and I can see that there are two scart(?) options plus a whole load of other things - maybe for video recording?- question is , is it worth getting a digi box or is it better to bin the old set and buy a new one? I am so untechnically minded it's beyond a joke! Thank you

For £10 or so it's worth a try

Didn't realise they were so cheap maybe I'll give it a try - I'll check the picture first though. Thank you
Cheap but cheaply made ones are the ones that the supermarkets tend to sell these days. The quality ones are harder to find. I'd have thought most would start at around £15 though.
This one even records tv programmes to sd cards and usb drives.

Thank you OG and hg4361 - I'll borrow a digi box and try out the tv first then take it from there.
