I have just bought a chromebook, which at the moment seems to have been a huge waste of money!
I am trying to print an email, but am going round in circles trying to connect my printer.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
Many thanks.

Is your printer wifi?

Or have you connected it via a cable?
I have a chromebook almost 2 years now, it is everything you think it is, I email my friend to print some items off for me, I don't need to do much printing these days, if I have coupons or anything like that, I have to send a link to friends or family and they bring the coupons over
You could plough through YouTube and see if there's anything there can help, I have tried but failed

Connected by a cable Wish I had stuck with what I know.
Thanks for replies.
Have you checked the printers website for chrome drivers?
We set up wi-fi printing from a Chromebook last week. The key was downloading Chrome to my laptop and doing the install from there then linking everything through magic and fairy dust.
It took four beers and many Doritos but it seems to be working now

Does seem a bit of a faff but there's no shortcut or quick fix I'm afraid.
I should probably add that when I say 'we' I really mean a family friend who can follow all the mumbo jumbo that pours forth from forums.
Installing Chrome wiped all of my saved passwords and auto log-ins too.

Unfortunately the reason I bought the chromebook was because my laptop died.
If a buy a cloud ready printer will that work easily?
Not sure why anyone would buy a Chromebook ? If you had bought a ordinary laptop, you could have used Chrome if you wanted to, or any other browser.

But it should print in exactly the same way as any other printer....connect with a cable.
